This Restaurant In Paris Will Surprise Your Taste Buds And Please Your Eyes

It seems that every cool hotel, bar or restaurant in Paris has been decorated by Dorthé Meilichzon. And Balagan is no exception. After L’hotel des Grands boulevards (see here) I stumble upon this Israeli/French restaurant: Balagan. Another very cool project from the Experimental Group in partnership with Meilichzon. Balagan means a beautiful mess in Yiddish and well it’s beautiful in every possible way. Just two steps away from the Tuileries gardens, it’s headed by two top Isralien chefs, Assaf Granit and Uri Navon. You’ll find the Balagan in the Hotel Renaissance Paris-Vendôme.

Why go there:

For me, it would definitely be for the decor first. With its electric blue bench seat, golden wall sconce and the mix between copper and wood, It’s a complete eye candy. And the cuisine was not left behind. A fusion of French, Moroccan and Israeli cuisine which brings out dishes such as the Damascus beef tartare, Salade Fatoush, Polenta balagan and many other amazing dishes.
