5 Delightful Reasons That Make Bar Soap More Attractive
As a kid, I had bar soap at home and I hated it. When I was sleeping at my friends house I saw all those fancy shower gels and was a bit jealous about it. I did try to put some shower gel in my mom’s trolley more than one time but she didn’t fall for it. Then as a grown up I finally got to buy my own soap so it’s only naturally that I went with the object of my desire, forbidden for so long. However, recently I began to question my love for shower gel. Seeing so many great bar soap makers popping everywhere might have been the trigger of this sudden envy. But is it just a question of trend ? How is it any different from the bar soap my mom use to buy? Finally what makes it different and more attractive now? Here are some response elements.
1.Natural ingredients (no shitty products)
Bar soap are gaining some attention because they are more and more made out of natural ingredients. A fact that makes it bankable in the global mindset. Of course there will always be some made with toxic products but it’s now easier to find conscious bar soap brands that use only natural ingredients. See below for my favorite brands.
2.Handmade
A lot of the new artisans that make soaps does it by hand. I find that knowing that your product is made by hand, always adds a tons of value to it. Someone actually took the time to carefully test and mix the ingredients to get the best soap possible. Washing myself with such product is more enjoyable than any high-end shower gel made out of flowers I’ve never heard of.
3.Eco-responsible
What’s also great about these bar soap brands, is the fact that there isn’t much waste that goes with it. Usually the only wrapping it comes with is paper that you can recycle. Therefore it’s more eco-friendly than a lot of other products.
4.Beautifuly minimalist
If you are loving the minimalist philosophy, I’d say that you are right on point with these bar soap brands. No frills only a nicely shaped bar. Plus it lasts longer than shower gel so you get to spare some money. Of course you need to keep it as dry as possible otherwise it will all melt.
5.Because they have upgraded their game
(some are almost pieces of art)
The bar soap my mom use to buy was pretty boring. plain white rectangular with nothing special about it. Even the scent was not so special. But now some have original shapes, marble and terrazzo like patterns and the scents are heavenly. There is one for everyone’s taste. They’ve put creativity into those soaps and it just works so well.
